Cross Categorical Email Phone: 715-985-3172 ext. 140 I have recently begun my 9th year of teaching in special education at Independence School District. Immediately after completing a bachelor's degree in Broad Area Science at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls I earned a cross-categorical teaching license through the University of Minnesota, St. Mary's. In 2019, I earned The Master of Arts (MA) in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) degree offered by Grand Canyon University which is designed for teachers who understand the importance of working with students on the autism spectrum. Before coming to Independence WI, I taught for two large school districts Osceola, Wisconsin, and Goodhue County, Minnesota. It has been a great opportunity to experience the family atmosphere Independence School District offers. Being an Independence resident inspires me to help all students succeed to become excellent academic minds and productive lifelong positive learners. Hobbies my husband, Bill, and I have are: gardening, biking, kayaking, and hiking.
